The business is managed and run by Matthew Aitken.
After graduating from Edinburgh University with microbiology honours, Matthew worked in food and drink companies across the UK for 15 years holding technical, laboratory and production management positions. He set up Underwood Consultants in 1995.
Matthew has developed, managed and audited numerous quality systems and has successfully taken many companies to the BRC (EFSIS) Global Food Standard. He is an experienced and innovative trainer.
While Matthew's approach is professional it is also practical and friendly.
